Hello Sandra,
Thanks for the reply, I have data about my branch of the Findon family back to 1768 and am stuck at present. The family at that time was resident in Warwickshire and might have arrived there from Bedford, but no proof as yet. If you want the gedcom file of the tree you are most welcome. It covers a number of families and locations, obviously England, then Australia, New Zealand, California, Pennsylvania with other branches in Canada and New York. It is quite eclectic since I have gathered related data in order to help any other poor soul at some time. I seem to have no relationship with the branch name in Hampshire, nor with any town named Findon in the UK, either England or Scotland, incidentally when you search for my name you find plenty of people seeking to be related to Findon, a king of Scotland, as if. Please reply when you want something.
Regards David F
