Does any Fincher family know of "Fincher" in Denver, Denver Co in 1900-1910. I am trying to identify my maternal "step" grandmother Sarah Fincher. My maternal Grandmother Arminta Emaline Risley (Mrs. Wm. Lee Schrabel) died in the 1919 flu epidemic. Wm. Lee Schrabel married Sarah "Sadie" Fincher 4 June 1923 both of Denver. Book 3100, Page 20. License No. 95174. by clergy Clarence J. Tinker. Witness Anna G. Perry and May Chapple.
In the 1920 Denver Census Sarah is living with a sister May Hare. Both widowed. No children listed. Both say born in IL.
The death record for Sarah "Sadie" Fincher Schrabel August 16, 1946 only has information that she was born in IL
My Grandfathe had died in 1939 and Sadie had written to my Mother till her death.
Since not finding a Fincher family in Denver 1900-1910 was wondering if anyone knew of a male Fincher that went to Denver and was dead by 1920. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you Charlotte
