I am Leland Allen Fincham in Richmond, KY, USA. I am looking for information on Henry Fincham who came to the US about 1854-1856. The following is information that I have from the Family Bible. Thanks,
Henry Fincham
Born: about February 19, 1831 in England ?
Died: May 10, 1878, Battle Creek (Dowling), Michigan, USA
Great Great Grandfather of Leland Allen Fincham.
I have found a Henry Fincham in the 1841 and 1851 English Census that is the closest match. This Henry was born to Charles (65 in 1851) and Elizabeth (55 in 1851) Fincham in Soham, Cambridgeshire, England listed about 1833, 18 years in 1851. Also shown in the household in 1851 are Charles-16, Emily-14, George-3, James-6, William-8, Woods-22.
Henry was supposed to have come from England about 1854 with his wife Anna. Settled in Delta, Fulton County, Ohio. Moved to the "Wilds of Michigan" upon advise of his doctor. Cause of death at early age off 37 is unknown.
Henry was buried in Delta, Ohio in the Delta Cemetery. Tombstone is still legible. Delta is about 25 miles due west of Toledo, Ohio.

Charles Frederick Fincham, b. March 16, 1860, Delta, Ohio., m. Nov 17, 1881.
Mary Elizabeth Fincham, b. Jan 23, 1863, Delta, Ohio, m. Dec 3, 1880 to Al Zimmerman.
Lucy Fincham, b. Jan 30, 1865, Delta, Ohio, d. May 28, 1865.
Francis Augustus Fincham, b. Sep 29, 1866, Battle Creek, Michigan, d. Jan 21, 1917, no marriage recorded.
Anna married William H. Hall at Battle Creek, Michigan on Sep 1, 1870. A son, Edgar Hall was born Sep 30, 1874 at Delta, Ohio.
