Could there be any connection? My ancestors are John and Ann Brookes Fincham. John was born in Attleborough, Norfolk, England & Ann
was born in Little Effingham, Norfolk, Eng.
They had 6 children: Harriett baptism Jan 29, 1800 & again Oct. 11, 1800; Charles bapt. Mar.20,1802; Charlott bapt Aug 6, 1804; Isaac
bapt. Sept 15, 1816; Robert bapt.Apr.22,1833;
& William bapt. Apr. 22, 1842. All baptism
in Attleborough, Norfolk, Eng. except Isaac &
he was bapt. in New Buckenham, Wesleyan, Norfolk, Eng.
Isaac is my gr.gr.grandfather. He married
Frances Clarke about 1837. They had 9 child-
ren: Charles b. 1837, Mary Ann b. 1839, Naomi
b. 1842; William b. 3-24-1845 (my gr.grand-
father), Ellen b. 1849, John b.1854 d.1854,
John b. 1855, James b.1859, & George b. 1863.
In 1987, Gladys Fincham King & Ella Fincham
Wood, both of Suffolk, Eng. came to Kansas &
are relatives of mine.
I know you mentioned that you probably was
not related to any Fincham in the USA but
your mention of Norfolk, Eng & village of
Fincham inspired me to write you. Thanks,
I am Lova Fincham Kraft in Abilene, Kansas,
USofA.
