This is a long shot, but I also have a James Authur Finch in my family, only mine lived from 1918-1994 in TN.

His father was Charley Wright Finch (1880-1921). Charley's father was John Carroll Finch (1854-1918) who died in Carroll Co., TN, but we don't know where he was born.

Don't know John Carroll's parents, but his siblings are Henry, Isam, and Jim.

Since names run in families, I thought I'd check with you on this one. Anything here look familiar?
