I don't know whether this is the your couple or not, but Williamson Finch, b. abt. 1755, married Mary "Molly" Spivey in Granville Co., North Carolina, sometime about 1790. Molly was the youngest daughter of Littleton Spivey and was mentioned in her father's 1761 will. Molly inherited land from her father, subject to a life estate by her mother Ann. Molly and Williamson sold the land in 1794. See the following:

Deed Book P Granville County, North Carolina, 1793-1797 p. 49 : Williamson Finch and wife, Molly, deed to Daniel Hunter for land which was bequeathed to them by the will of Littleton Spivey, decd., February 3, 1794.

I believe Williamson Finch was the son of John Finch and Mary Williamson. John Finch and Williamson Finch were on the 1771 Granville County Militia Rolls in the Capt. Kitrell's Company. John Finch Sr. and Williamson were on the 1788 tax roles of Granville Co. John Finch Sr. died in Franklin Co., North Carolina, and his will was probated September 1793 (Will Book A page 21).
