Gabriel Best Finch b)1770 Sundridge, Kent d)1855 Halstead, Kent England, m) Suanna Golding. Would have been my gg grandfather. Children I'm aware of are Gabriel, Susanna Thorpe, Ellen Ward, George Byng b)1823 d)1894 (my g grandfather), John, Frederick and Mary Barrett.
My gg grandfather, George, traveled to US in 1851 and eventually settled in Vienna Twp, Verona, Illinois. He married Martha Rumney in 1859 and had the following children, Mary Susanna Ward, Louisa Anna Ward, Ellen Ward Beattie, George Robert, William James, Frederick Henry, Martha Annie Petry, Hester Bertha McCormick, Cora Elizabeth and John Gabriel b)1882 d) 1959 (my grandfather).
John Gabriel married Lora Larimore in 1901 and had the following children, Edna, Fred b)1904 d)1961 (my father), Genevieve, Velma, Gladys, Guy, Russell and Francis.
