My great-great-greatgrandfather, William "Billy" Finch, was born in 1781 in Spartaburg Co., SC. He was married to Mary G. Roberts Nov. 17, 1809 in Caldwell, Ky. The two had 15 children as follows:

6)Jesse Whitney Finch, b. abt 1819.
7)Daniel Franklin Finch, b.1820, TN, d. Civil War.
8)David Finch, b. 1820, TN.
9)Edward "Ned" Finch, b. 1822, TN.
10)John Robert Finch b.1823, Decatur Co., TN, d. Oct. 31, 1873 near Detroit,Red River Co., TX.
11)Richard Finch
12)James "Jim" Finch, b. 9-19-1827, Perry Co., TN.
13)Elizabeth Finch, b. 1829, TN
