I've only found a few other people on here searching out the indian side of the Finch family. Mostly it's European people looking for their roots, and it seems to be all you can find. However, I know my Finch side is Indian, from VA/NC area. I have heard Chickahominy, and I have heard Cheroke. Neither of which are a subculture of Europe, so, no offense, I'm not interested in the European traces.
I'm looking for anything about a Bertha May Finch (Birdie Mae Finch) who married Mark W. Sessler in/around Charlotte CourtHouse VA there was an apx 10 year age difference between the 2, and they had 3 children. Mark was born apx 1880, Bertha 1890. Their children were Mary, Luther, and Oakley (all 3 had much longer "Indian" names, these were their "common" names)
Any info you may have about any part of this Finch family would be greatly appreciated, as well as any info about Mark W. Sessler, my family rumors Mark died in Prison, thus why we know so little about him.
