Could this Leander Finch be a relative?

Message from Joan Clark--Bonecutter forum:

Matilda BONECUTTER married Felix RYAN 6 June 1861 in Jay CO Indiana. Felix RYAN died during the Civil War and Matilda died about 1865.
Probate records of Jay Co IN. show that Leander Finch and James Finch were appointed as guardians of William L Ryan the minor heir of Matilda and Felix RYAN in Dec 1864.William is 2 year old. Nancy Bonecutter the mother of Matilda was paid by the estate for room and board, and clothing for the minor heir William L RYAN.
Nancy BONECUTTER states in a petition in 1868 that she is the grandmother of siad heir William L Ryan and that both of William's grandfathers and his paternal grandmother are dead.
An Allen JAQUA and William SUTTON are also listed as guardians of the minor William L RYAN.
I belive that Felix RYAN was an older brother of my gr grandmother Catherine "Kate" LEWELLEN RYAN. Who was the daughter of Samuel LEWELLEN and Elizabeth GOFF/Gough.
Samuel LEWELLEN died n 1841 in Delware Co IN.
Nancy married John RYAN in 1822 in Monongalia Co WV.
