There are several Sidney Finches mentioned in the Finch Families of Dixie, pub. 1972 by Ruby Finch Thompson. The book is out of print, but is available in many large libraries and through the LDS Family History Centers. The everyname index I created for FFD is also available through the LDS library system. Pages 77, 78, 228, 253, 370, 318 mention Sidney, some have connections with MS or Pike Co. More information is needed to identify your Sidney.
