Jabez ( Henry) Finch married?? to Elizabeth Murfett of Tasmania (c 1860s)

G'day,
I have a strange one here. Jabez Finch (born England 1845, that is what he says, but no proof found) married a Elizabeth Murfett ( born Tasmania 1842, she says, but no documentation to prove this either) They were married 24 Jan 1867 ( they say, no proof). They moved to victoria and had children Sophia, George, Henry, Maude, Ruby (NSW). So where jabez finch or Eliz, Murfett came from is a mystery, as is why they claimed all of these marriage date and birth dates , but no record can be found.

Any knowledge out there????
