Typewritten pages from family researchers (Everett and Edith Finch, I think - both now deceased.)
This info seems to match or be from Col. Thummel's work.

Died 10 Mar1848, age 85 years, 13 days; interred Greenfield Cemetery, Clifford, Wayne County, PA
Married 19 Oct 1787, Sarah Tompkins, died 27 Oct. 1846, age 78 years, 8 months, 27 days; interred Greenfield Cemetery.
Served in the Revolutionary war.
1776-Removed from Orange County, NY to Pittston, Plaines Township, Luzerne County, PA.
27 Mar. 1793-As administrator of father's estate sold to Moses Finch of Minisink.
1800 US Census: Exeter Township, Luzerne county, PA. 31110 11010 (I am not sure what these numbers are!)
1809-Removed to Greenfield Township, Lackawanna County, PA

Betsy Finch born Dec. 28, 1828
(I think that Betsey died in child birth as another note referencing "Virkus Abridged Compendium
of American Genealogy" by 'cousin' Perry Carpenter of Fleetville, indicates a possible date of
death of Dec. 28, 1828. That is the same date as the birth of the twin daughters. The note goes
on to say that she must have lived longer because there were chldren until 1841. The Bible
reference also goes on to list these children as if they were Betsey's. I believe them to be the
children of a 2nd wife, Lucinda Swallow, and not Betsy Weeks)

(My 2nd great grandfather was John Jay Finch. His mother was Lucinda Swallow according to
family history.)
