I am not a relative as far as I know, but I have found the marriage registration for this couple in the process of doing Finch research in Ontario. Perhaps this will help you in your search.

The groom was Chas. L. Finch, 22, born in Barrie, Ont., living in Detroit, a bachelor and a physician, the son of Julia Finch and Hannah McFarlane. (The father's name has been John in other records.)
The bride was Frances Jennette Clark, 20, born in Kingston, Ont., living in Detroit, a spinster, the daughter of James Clark and Bridget Duffy.
The witnesses were Chas. J. Annis and Elizabeth Caulfield.
This marriage was performed 12 Jan (1891) in Windsor by John Gray by license.
Both the bride and groom were Baptist.
The marriage is registered in Windsor, Essex County.
