I have recently been researching our property located what is now Stephens County, GA. There is a small cemetery on the property and the grave of Joicy wife of E O Finch is located in that cemetery. It appears there are many other graves there but not marked other than with rocks. The tombstone says: In Memory of Joicy wife of E O Finch who died June 9, 1869 Aged 49 years. Right behind her grave is a small tombstone with only the initials J F. I would love to talk to someone about this family. This property was suppose to have been an old cotton plantation then about 200 acres.
