I came across a birth in the Civil registers for a Miriam Annie Hendry September 1/4 1920, Chorley mothers maiden name FINCH.
I have found the baptism at St James Chorley Miriam Annie Hendry born 4 Sep 1920 parents John James Hendry and Margaret (nee Finch)address 2 Goulding Terr, Leyland.
I am interested in finding out more about this family as I am married to a Hendry, my husbands grandmother was Annie Bensley she married William Hendry and her sister Minnie married a Finch, name unknown. My husbands family are from the London area.
