I have recently done some research on Amos Finch. I believe we are looking at the same person. The bible records I found (Montgomery County,NY library) indicate his birthdate to be 22 Sept. 1755 and his death date to be 22 Jan. 1849. Married to Martha Rowe (b. 2 Feb 1767, d.23 Aug 1841), daughter of Thomas Rowe. They lived in Cairo, Greene County, NY

I am a descendent of Amos and I have been trying to complete this line back to John Finch from CT. If you are still interested or if you have any more info please e-mail me. Thank you
