Sorry, part of my info there was wrong. Daniel was from Decatur County. Daniel lived at Sulpher Springs and was a Deacon of the Baptist Church there around the beginning of the Civil War.

Daniel's brothers were George W. (d. at Pleasant Grove, TX), Jim, Robert, Richard, Whitney, John W. (whose descended went to Miss.), Daniel, Thomas, Bryant, and Sidney. He had three sisters...Elizabeth, Patsy and Ellen.

Information from J. Sidney Finch, Booneville, Miss.

Don't know if Daniel ever went to TX or not.
