Some of the Finches that settled in Arkansas came from Decatur County TN. I don't know the name of the parents, but the siblings were George W. (d. Pleasant Grove, TX), Jim, Robert, Richard, Whitney, John W. (whose descendents settled in Little Rock), Daniel, Thomas, Bryant, Sidney, Elizabeth, Patsy and Ellen.

John W. settled in Mississippi . He bought land there in 1843. I don't know who of his children went to Little Rock.

I found out this information from J. Sidney Finch, Attorney at Law, Booneville, Miss., who wrote a letter to my Grandfather in 1953.
