Mine came to US and was b 1818-1826. In a census in 1870 Henderson Co., KY he had children b in PA and then seemed to have left for NJ and then off the KY and IN. I believe he was married to a possibly a Margaret at the time until 1866 when he married Catherine A Carroll in Evansville, IN. They had a son together John T Finan. Any help would be appreciated.
