Patrick,
I'm well aware of Finan's in Chicago, as I'm one of them. But, I'm not an expert in any way on this genealogy stuff. My name is James T. Finan. I live in a southwest suburb of Chicago.
My dad was also James T. Finan, - as was his father. His father married Alice Allaire, from Quebec I believe, - having my dad and LaVerne as children. My dad married Winifred Reisser, having 4 children, - myself, Jerilyn, Kenneth and Debra. All but Jerilyn are in the Chicago area.
There is a prior posting from Maura Allaire displayed on this page. She mentions the Allaires, but her e-mail is blocked.
If anyone wants some info, let me know.
