Flora, Paul, Emma, Belle Fillion - Mich.

Hi--

Am trying to get a bead on a line of Fillions, and am not having much luck. My grandmother is Flora Fillion Dupuis, born 1871 in Canada. She has at least a brother (Napoleon/Paul, who was a priest), and sisters Belle, Josephine, and Emma. Flora and Paul were born in Canada, then the family immigrated to the US in 1881.

Paul, Belle, and Josephine were living together in Gladstone, MI, according to the 1910 census; Emma was living with Flora and her family in Sault Ste. Marie.

There is evidence of any other these Fillions (other than Flora) on the 1900 Michigan census, or the 1920 census. I have no idea who their parents are, which I know is not much to go on.

There is mention of cousins named Sylvestre, but I don't know if they were from the Fillion side or the Dupuis side.

I know it's not much to go on, and I've already visited the Filion web sites mentioned on this board, so if anyone has any tidbits, I'd be most appreciative.

Jacqueline
