CASTLETON -- Sterling Y. Filkins, 79, of Bellwood Lane, died Monday at Albany Memorial Hospital.
Communicant of First United Methodist Church, East Greenbush.
Survivors include his wife, Irma Stieve Filkins; two daughtes, Joanne M. Filkins of Lexington, Ky., and Carol B. Filkins of Castleton; two sons, Robert H. Filkins of Ballston Lake and Richard P. Filkins of Olympia, Wash.
Rockefeller Funeral Home, Rensselaer.
Burial in East Greenbush Cem.
