To the principal SURVEYOR of the land, set apart from the
Officers and Soldiers of the Commonwealth of Virginia
This shall be your warrant to surveyr and layoff in one or
more surveys, for THOMAS FIGG
his heirs and assigns the Quantity of ONE HUNDRED ACRES of
Land, due unto the said THOMAS FIGG in consideration of his
Service of THREE YEARS as a soldier in Virginia Contenintal
Line.Agreeably to a Certificate from the Govenor and
Council, which is received into the Land Office. Given
under my Hand, and Seal of the said Office, this 15th day
of October in the year One Thousand Seven Hundred & 84.
Have also found service records for Thomas FIGG in Rev.
War records. One Thomas Figg was Montrosse in the Navy;
one Thomas Figg served 3 years. All same Thomas Figg????
