Jack Fifer appears in one photo just before he goes off to WW II and soon dies. His name is spelled Fiefer on the photo which is probably an error as NARA shows only one Russell Fifer of Ill dying in WW II. The photo goes on to say he might be the son of a doctor. This was the last photo of Jack before his death. Fine looking man.
