Thank you for taking a look at my pages. My family is of Scotish-Irish descent. I do not have proof that they came directly to America thru PA. That is just what is written about Many Fife's that migrated here.

The oldest record I have dates back to 1770 Lenoir Co., NC. I know that he had more than 12 children with Alice Wetherington. So I am to belive that he too came from a large family who might have been spread out in the area.

I have also recieved e-mails from other Fife researchers speculating that he may be related to a David, William, James or John Fife who lived in the Carolina's during that time period.

All this is not proven. That is where I have been at a stand still. So I am searching for any clues.
