Am trying to find the name of Mary's 1st husband (if she was even married). Mary is the Daughter of Samuel & Mary Fife.
Mary Jane Fife is 16 in 1860 in the household with her mother, I guess her father died before the census. (Oktibbeha Co., MS)
in 1870 she is living with her mother, but has 2-3 children in the household: James W. age 3, John age 1 and Sarah R 6/12.(Oktibbeha Co, MS) I am assuming these are her children, because
in 1880 she is living with her husband Andrew Buckner and there are two stepsons of Andrews listed as John Fife 10 and William Fife 13. (Clay Co., MS)
In 1900 she was in Limestone co., TX living with her relatives Huey C. Fife and Omaha.
In 1910 she was living with her son, William Gore in Mexia, Limestone Co., TX

1850 - Saluda Regt, Abbeville, SC
1860 - Starkville, Oktibbeha, MS
1870 - Oktibbeha, MS
1880 - Herbert, Neshoba, MS
1900 - Limestone, TX
1910 - Limestone, TX
1920 - Nueces, TX
1930 - Buried in Cotton Gin Cemetery, Freestone Co., TX
