Thursday, June l3, l900

At the beautiful home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. F.W. FIERCE, near Van Wert, on Sunday evening, June l0, at 7:00 o'clock, occurred the marriage of MR. HARRY O. TUTTLE and MISS EDITH FIERCE in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. MRS. W.S. THROCKMORTON, an aunt of the groom, officiated at the organ and to the sweet strains of music, the contracting parties accompanied by Mr. Elmer Stearns and Miss Ida Anderson, took their places on the east porch of the house which was decorated with flowers and ferns. Rev. Tillotson in a very neat little ceremony, joined the happy couple in wedlock.

After the usual congratulations the guests, about 70 in number, repaired to the dining room and partook of an elegant supper which was in readiness for them. After supper the evening was spent in singing and chatting.

MR. TUTTLE is the eldest son of MR. and MRS. D.E. TUTTLE of this place, and is well known as a young man of sterling worth and has been in the employ of W.F. Blair as head clerk and bookkeeper for years.

MISS FIERCE is the youngest daughter of MR. and MRS. F.W. FIERCE and is an accomplished and charming young lady.

They received a great many valuable and useful presents. The newly wedded (*Can't read -- there is a blacked out and large torn area).
