Portrait of Isaac & Emeline Field, painted ca. 1830

The online catalog of a 30 September 2010 auction at Sotheby's in New York City pictures as lot #30 two miniature portraits of a Mr. & Mrs. Isaac & Emeline Field, painted ca. 1830. No further information about the couple, including where they lived or their dates of birth, death, or marriage, is given in the catalog.

Nevertheless, I am saving a digital copy of these portraits in case any of the this family's descendants might identify them and might like copies freely when the online catalog is withdrawn. Someone in the Field family ought to have them--they are too good to be missed by the family.

My email address may be found by clicking on my underlined name above. Please contact me by email at that address rather than leave a message on this website, which I might not see.

If they were portraits of members of my Pease family, I'd certainly hope that someone would do the same for me.
