They were from Milwaukee I think. My mother's father was Charles Ervin Fiebrantz, but left her mother when she was 3. (1933). at that time they were living in Summerset Kentucky. The last time anyone ever saw him that we know of was he stopped by to give my mom a Shirley Temple doll for her 6'th birthday in 1936. At that time he was re married to a woman with a couple children . She faithfull looked for him for years untill her death in 1994. About a year before we had the net. It only took me about 10 min in my search to find Charles Ervin in the SSDI buried in Clearlake Califor. Figured it had to be him! That is about all I know. He did have a uncle in Mil. that had a butcher shop if I recall where he worked untill the uncle died. Charles and 2 or 3 cusins sold the place, split the money and all went there seperate ways.. This is ref. of a letter i found that my mom wrote to someone. I will look for it. It had some other ref. in it.
