Fidler Family Genealogy Forum

The search is on!! We have 1. Valentine Fidler, his d.o.d we have as 1840. Then the Valentine Fidler who m. Barbara Crompton, 1790. could this Valentine have been the g/son of the Valentine who d. 1840.. They are directly connected that we know, but the dates lead to thinking, (1) d. 1840 would make.. V.2.. at least 50 years old at his 1790 marriage... Barbara & Valentine had these children... Mary Fidler.1791. M. Joseph Ridings, Oct.14.1814.. Elizabeth Fidler.b.1793. Spouse??.. Thomas Fidler.b.1796 m. Elizabeth Sharples June30.1823.. JOHN FIDLER.B.Feb.24.1799 (the family mystery man we have no info other than d.o.b..)HE became the invisible man!! Rachel Fidler b.1803 Spouse?? William Nelson Fidler b. 1806. M. Elizabeth Sharples Oct 1.1845. Between Birth of William 1806 & m.(2) Barbara apparently died we have not details for her d.o.d Valentine then m. Nancy Davidson, they had son Valentine circa 1814/16 who came to VDL m. Catherine Noonan.. We think basic areas in England. are Lancashire, Lancastashire, Stockport, Bolton. Other Surnames that could be a lead.. Pearson. Williams, Sullivan,Morgan, Jacobsen, Bishop, Henderson, Murphy, Fischer,Clifford, These names are interlocked with marriages to either M. or F. Fidlers.in the 19th century.. Fidler namesakes or cousins in England if you are on the ancestry search & have anything that may lead us to gain more info please your input would be so very gratefully received. With much hope & a big Thank you to any who can pass on information.
