Looking for information on the ten (?) children of Margaret Adamson (c. 1797, TN-?) and Nathan Williams (6/4/1794, NC-bef. 1850, IN), who settled in Madison Co. by 1830s, moving from Wayne Co., IN, and prior to that east TN. They married on 2/15/1818 in Wayne Co. Nathan was son of Tabitha Hardin and David Williams. Margaret was daughter of Ruth Williams and Jonathan Adamson. There is no known connection between David Williams and Ruth Williams. Known or suspected offspring of Margaret and Nathan include: Rachel, b. 2/26/1824; Abigail, b. 1827 in IN, m. Jacob W. Fidler/Fiddler, b. c. 1825, Ross Co., OH, married c. 1850 in Ross Co. (Ihave a photo of Abigail); Jonathan A., b. 2/19/1829 in Wayne Co., m. Elizabeth Fountain on 3/31/1853 in Anderson,IN, moved to Jasper Co., IA bet. 1860-70; James, b. c. 1831 in IN; Cynthia, b. c. 1833 in IN; Daniel, b. c. 1838 in IN. In addition, based on 1830 and 1840 censuses, there may have been two other sons born bet. 1818-1825, and two other daughters born bet. 1818-1830. My line descends through Jonathan A. and Elizabeth Fountain Williams. Seeking information on marriages, migrations, descendants, etc., of the other five identified children, and identities of the four unknown children. Notify Administrator about this message?
