Hoping to connect anyone searching for the descendants of Ignace Filsch who came from Mannheim, Germany in ca. 1758 to Quebec. The family originally settled on Ile de Montreal, then moved to Point Claire, Ile Perrot, Vaudreuil, Les Cedres and into Ontario in the Glengarry and Stormont (St Andrew's West area) Counties of Ontario, near the Aux Raisin River area. I have been researching this line and have found some very useful information, which I am willing to share. If you wish to contact me, my email is jcikkala@rogers.com.
