Hello William,
I am the descendant of a Georgian Few named Madison Few. The interesting thing is that I think it possible that we are connected to the SC Fews. (No one knows for sure) Madison Few was born 1822. His son John Henry born 1857. His son John Marion b. 1883 and his son Charles Marion was born 1917. I was very interested the first time I saw in the Fruth book that your ancestor was named Francis Marion.
Are you familiar with the Florence Knight Fruth book: Some Descendants of Richard Few of Chester County, Pennsylvania and Allied Lines 1682-1976?
Most Few genealogists have a copy of this book. It is very detailed and mostly accurate. There are some chapters, such as the one on my family in Mississippi which contain errors. In all fairness, she did not compile the information on my line.
Hope you find everything you need. The interesting thing is, that the Clement Fews, also of Georgia to Mississippi have Fergusons married into it.
You are aware that Sarah Ferguson was a full blood Cherokee? You will find her on the Cherokee rolls.
