War by Cynthia Forde of 600 This is probably not much help, but Benjamin lived in Orange Co, NC abt 1758-1773 then moved to Georgia. So he wasn't living in NC in 1775 but since he was in the military, who knows where he might have gone? The best I can do is tell you I know he was in Orange Co, on the 30th of March 1772 because he signed a deed for someone.
