Hi Jen, I don't know if the following might help, but here you go: Gen 1. - Johannis Fetterly (b.1737) m. Elizabeth Crouse/Counse, their son: Gen 2. - George Johannes Fetterly (b.1768) m. Margaret Eckler, their daughter may have married a cousin: Gen 3. - Elizabeth Fetterly (b.abt.1810) m. Abram Fetterly/Featherly (cousin?), their son: Gen 4. - Robert F. (or T.?) Fetterly (b.1849) m. Minerva A. (b.abt. 1855--could she have also been known as Lovina?), and they had son: Gen 5. - Robert Fetterly Jr. (b.abt.1880). Also, the 1870 US Federal Census lists Robert F. Featherly (age 20) living with Abram Featherly (age 61), Betsy Featherly (age 60), and Charles G. Featherly (age 23) in Sodus, NY. This family is also in the earlier 1850 US Federal Census for Sodus, NY: Abram Featherly (41), Elizabeth Featherly (40), Anna M. Featherly (16), Charles A. Featherly (5), Mary J. Featherly (10), Robert T. Featherly (1), Sarahe Featherly (8) <most likely Sarah Featherly>, and William H. Featherly (12). My own research has shown there seem to be 2 Fetterly branches in NY: those originating from Johannis Fetterly (above) and those originating with my ancestor, Philip Fetterly (abt. 1725-1803). I've not been able to make any connection between the two branches. Philip's original last name may have been Fetter or Vetter. I've seen Johannis' name spelled Fetterly/Featherly/Fetterley/Vetterly/Vetterley. If you can, search more at familysearch.org to see if you can make any connections between Minerva A. and Lovina. Good luck! Notify Administrator about this message?
