FETTERLY /CASSELMAN: A PacNW Link (WA)

See my postings under FETTERLY/CASSELMAN.

I live in the Seattle, Washingon, USA area, and am looking for the Norteastern US/Ontario, Canada relatives that I believe are a large missing branch of our family tree.

The Fetterlys out here have heard they came from Ontario or Nova Scotia. The town of "Huntsville" sounds very familiar--I believe that my father said it was where this branch of the Fetterly family came from. It may be where my great-grandfather (John Lever Fetterly) married my g-grandmother, Mina Casselman. My Fetterlys moved across Canada to British Columbia. Around 1883, they relocated to Seattle, Washington, USA. There are now a few of us here in Washington State, and some other relations in California. But my immediate branch of the family have lived in Washington State for 100+ years.

I would love any of you who have posted here to contact me with whatever information you have. Our branch of the family doesn't really have anything documented (at least very well) in the way of information. I do have a family Bible, which I can photocopy and share, that shows some of the marriages, births, etc. that occurred when my Fetterlys first came to Seattle.

If interested, contact me at the e-mail address of nancyf@cortland.com or nancyf1@sprynet.com.

Thanks!
