I am trying to find out who this John G. Fetter is. Does anyone have any information on him? Thank you. Recorded in Lancaster County, Will Book W, Volume 1, page 47-48. In the name of God, Amen. I, John G. Fetter of the City of Lancaster in the State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, but considering the uncertainty of this (transitory, this word on the will was crossed out) life, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following to wit. I give, devise and bequeath all my Estate real, personal & mixed, whatsoever and wheresoever found, after the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses, unto my dearly beloved wife Ann Eliza Fetter. Hereby appointing my said wife Ann Eliza Fetter to be the sole Executor of this my Will. In witness where of I have here unto set my hand and seal this twelfth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty five (6-12-1855) Signed John G. Fetter Signed, sealed published, pronounced and declared by said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in his presence and at his request have subscribed our names as witnesses. Signed Mrs. H. Carpenter F.J. Kramph Lancaster County, On the third day of December, Anno Domini 1855, (12-3-1855) before me the subscriber personally appeared Mrs. H. Carpenter and F.J. Kramph, the subscribing witnesses to the preceding Will, and on their solemn affirmations did depose and say that they were present and saw and heard John G. Fetter, the testator therein named, sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament, and that at the doing thereof he was of sound and well disposing mind, memory and understanding, to the best of their knowledge, observation and belief. Jos. Ehrenfried, Dep. Reg. December 3, 1855, Letters Testamentary granted to Ann Eliza. Fetter, sole Executrix, she being duly affirmed well and truly to administer the goods and chattels, rights and credits of the Testator according to law, and also that she will diligently and faithfully regard and well and truly comply with the provisions of the Laws relating to Collateral Inheritances.
