Sophie immigrated from Germany before 1900 (between 1850-1874) with her family. They lived on a river boat on the Ohio River near Cinncinati Ohio. They may have also lived on Kentucky side. Sophie married a Jones(? maybe psuedonym - maybe Hicks? - maybe an ex-Civil War soldier) before 1900 (maybe 1888). She had a right-eye injury leaving her blind in right-eye. She spoke fluent German. Her mother was Dutch. They gave birth to only child named Harry Decoursey(?) Jones in Cinncinatti before 1900. Harry then married a Bertha Williams from Tennessee and begat three boys named Orrin Baron (b.1915 oldest), Harold (b.?), and Fred Decoursey Jones (b.?) all born in Cincy. Does anyone have more info?
