I have a bio on a George H. Fessler born June 2nd 1844 in Mason county Illinois. It states that his grandfather, John Fessler, a native of Germany had came to America just prior to the Revolutionary war. At the date of this bios printing in 1909 the family still retained a rifle barrel and powder horn carried by his grandfather in the Revolutionary war, and also a clock with wooden works owned by John Fessler. Georges parents were Adam and Susan [ Everett ] Fessler. Is there anything familar to your family here.
