Robert, Here's an entry copied from P. 197 of "The Fessenden Family in America", 1971, Mary Elizabeth Fessenden Washburn, Libreary of Congress Cat. Card No. 75-158409. The number preceding each name is a system that traces the paternal ancestry back to Nicholas Fessenden, who came to America around 1665. I noticed that Mary Jane and her sister Frances died on the same day. Let me know if you need more. Jim Fessenden 61511 EDMOND MUNROE FESSENDEN (b. Mar. 11, 1796) married LUCY ELIZABETH ANNIS of Charlestown, Mass., Feb. 3, 1827, Arlington Mass. He was a miller by trade. He died in 1831. Children: -1. Mary Jane b. Apr. 19, 1828; m. Nov. 23, 1848, to Thomas Gordon; d. July 14, 1873. -2. Frances Ann b. Dec. 16, 1829, Roxbury, Mass.; m. Sept. 18, 1849, to Orrin H. Rogers; d. July 14, 1873. -3. Edmond Munroe b. Jan. 31, 1832; m. Oct. 27, 1866, to Mary Ann (Malcohn) Poor; d. July 1, 1888. 615111 MARY JANE FESSENDEN (b. Apr. 19, 1828) married Thomas GORDON Nov. 23,1848. They moved to Canada about two years later. She died July 14, 1873. Children (all except the eldest born in Canada): -1. George Thomas Gordon b. Apr. 8, 1849, West Cambridge, Mass. -2. Eugene Clarence Gordon b. Mar. 28,1851. -3. Herbert Munroe Gordon b. Mar. 31,1859. A Elzaida Jane Gordon b. Feb. 29, 1862. -5. Ida Maude May Gordon b. Aug. 26,1865. -6. Mary Jane Gordon b. Jan. 23, 1873.
