According to "The Canadian men and women of the time: a handbook of Canadian Biography,"
by Henry J. Morgan 1842 - 1913; W. Briggs
Toronto: 1898...

Mr. Fessenden was b. Oct.6,1866 to the late Rev. E.J. Fessenden and his wife, Clementina TRENHOLME at Bolton,PQ. He m. Sept. 1890 to Miss Helen M. TROTT of Bermuda, West Indies.

He had various residences, including:

New Jersey, where he was the Inspector of
Edison Machine Works at Menlo Park in 1887.

Indiana...Prof. of Engineering at Pardue U. at Lafayette, 1893.

Allegheny,PA...Prof of Engineering and
consulting Electrical Eng. at Western U.,1894

Mr.Fessenden himself a Conservative!!!
But here's the kicker... "He was a believer
in the Greater Britain."

Hope this rambling helps someone!
