Louisa Fessenden Lailer did marry a John Cooper after Waldo was killed in the Bussey Bridge train wreck, but my father said it only lasted a short time and Mr. Cooper ran off with some of Louisa's money. Louisa spent a good deal of her remaining years at the Lyme, NH retreat, and she and Waldo are buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery near Hyde Park, Massachusetts.
