Yes same man, his uncle John Fessenden of Cambridge Ma, who arr c 1635 had no children requested that he come from Canterbury, Eng and take over his Mass holdings. Nicholas and Margaret had 14 children, the youngest being Rev. Benjamin Fessenden b 1701 of Sandwich.
He is believed to the founder of the Fessenden family in America.
