How exciting to find the letter referring to my grandmother Emma Storer. This picture she refers to as Grandmother Phesington is the one I was telling you about. This could not have been Sallie I don't think because she was an older lady with cap and small reading glasses. I think it is a picture of Sallie's mother Polly Whitney Fessenden. On the back of the picture is where I read Grandmother Fessenden or Phesington, her husbands name was Henry, she was a Whitney.
Russell Bashore who died years ago, told me that Almira was his Grandmother and that she apparently had gone from New York to visit some family by name of Heath in Toledo, Oh. That would be Roxanna's family. While she was in the State of Ohio she came on down to visit her brother in Rainsboro, Oh. There she met Mr. Russell who was a widower and they married. He told me that not a day would pass but that Roxanna and Almira didn't visit each other. He had a big silver table spoon with monogram on it that belonged to Almira. I wish I had visited him more. I only met him once.
