I am looking to join The Sons of Confederate Veterans to be able to start the Mississippi College Rifles Group again on campus. It is also a division of The Sons of Confederate Veterans, and the only way to be in it is being able to trace my lineage. I know that I have three Confederate veteran relatives, John Wesley Fesmire of the 27th Regiment of the Tennessee Infantry, William Fesmire of the 21st Regiment of the Tennessee Calvary of Colonel Andrew Wilson, and an A. Fesmire of Moseley's Regiment in Mississippi. My Grandmother was Elizabeth Rogers Fesmire, my Grandfather was Claude Fesmire, my Father is Alva Cecil Fesmire, but I am not real sure of my other relatives than some random Fesmire names like Sonny Fesmire and a few other modern Fesmire relatives names I've found. But I would like to know where the aforementioned Confederate veteran Fesmire's are in relation to me and my Fesmire lineage. Thanks and I appreciate it any help at all possible. By the way I am from Huntsville, Alabama and I go to school in Clinton, Mississippi at Mississippi College if that helps any. My name is Matthew Claude Fesmire.
