I'm afraid I can't help confirm the "two brothers" cliche, as the earliest record I have of Christian Fesmire is from 1779 when he was living in Deerfield Twp., Cumberland Co., NJ. I haven't come across anything stating that your Martin was in NJ or PA either. The only records I have on Martin are for NC. If I should come across anything though, I'll be sure to post it here. Thanks for your reply.
