I just noticed that fesmire.com has disappeared. That was a personal homepage of one of Christian's descendants. He had some information about Christian's family, and he also had a link to Roland Dee (Buddy) Fesmire's homepage:

http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acropolis/3744/index.html

Buddy descends from Alexander Wilson Fesmire, son of old John's son Balaam. Most of the rest of us Tennessee Fesmires descend from Balaam's brother Martin V. (Well, Balaam only had one son and Martin V. had four.)

Their cousin, also named Balaam and called Balaam F., also came to Tennessee with his uncle John, and he had three sons. One of his sons moved to Mississippi, and the Mississippi Fesmires descend from him.

I grew up in Mississippi, but I'm a "Tennessee" Fesmire. I never knew any of the Mississippi family then. I have corresponded with some of them since then.

Also Jerry McDaniel has a Website that has a lot of Fesmire information. It is The Watchers at:

http://www.the-watchers.com/index.htm

Jerry and I have corresponded and exchanged files, both of which are on:

http://www.rootsweb.com

on the World Connect project.

Hope these sites are helpful in your search.

Alice Ann
