Regarding Isaac Newton Fesler and Nancy Sharpe:
He was born Jan. 31, 1863 Macon Co., IL.After his wife's death, he married Elizabeth Robbearts.They had no additional children, although she brought three step-children to the marriage.Isaac died June 18, 1918, Shepherd Twp., Pike Co., IL, and Elizabeth died April 10, 1940 at Hull, IL.Isaac and Elizabeth are both buried in Hydesburg Cemetery near Hannibal, MO.I do not have any information about the burial place of Nancy (Sharpe) Fesler.
Regarding Isaac Newton Fesler's father of the same name:
Isaac Newton Fesler, b. July 13, 1836 in Switzerland Co., IN, d. Dec. 9, 1887, St. John Twp., Stafford Co., KS.He was a Civil War soldier, enlisted in Illinois, 116th IL Co. D.Isaac Newton Fesler was the son of Abraham Fesler (b. 1809 in KY, d. 1882 in Decatur, IL) and Sinah Coffman. Abraham and Sinah are both buried in Friends Creek Cemetery near Argenta, IL.The Decatur Daily Republican apparently contains an account of her death.
Isaac Newton Fesler married Lucetta Anderson, b. Feb. 23, 1842 Tippecanoe Co., IN, daguhter of James Madison Anderson and Eliza Ward.She d. July 30, 1994 and is buried in Friends Creek Cemetery, Macon Co., IL.
