St. Charles (Kane County, Illinois) Chronicle, Nov. 7, 1902 (as reprinted in the issue of Nov. 10, 1927): Raymond Ferson came home from Chicago last Wednesday night and visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ferson, over Thursday. Raymond has been assigned to a night run as brakeman on the Northwestern between Aurora and Chicago and will be allowed to spend the day here.
